Our role
We cover an industry; we do not provide gambling services or encourage readers to play. There are no deposits, bonus offers, gambling accounts or operator rankings on this site. Reading about a game or a resort is not a recommendation to participate. Our editorial access threshold is 18+, while the legal age for gambling depends on the relevant jurisdiction and product.
Ontario support and referrals
ConnexOntario provides free, confidential information and referrals for gambling-related concerns in Ontario, available 24 hours a day. Its specialists can help people find counselling and other support, including for friends or family members. You can visit the official service page or call 1-866-531-2600. ConnexOntario provides information and referrals; this publication does not provide counselling.
Ontario online self-exclusion
BetGuard is the centralized voluntary self-exclusion tool described by iGaming Ontario for people aged 19 and older. The official service is the place to check current eligibility, coverage and conditions. Use the genuine programme website rather than an unsolicited link claiming to enrol you. Coverage of the regulated online market should not be assumed to include all physical venues or unregulated websites.
Outside Ontario
Look for the public health service or gaming authority for your own province or territory. The Responsible Gambling Council also offers educational information and help resources. A programme’s geographic scope matters: do not assume that an Ontario service has the same coverage elsewhere in Canada. For an urgent medical emergency, use the emergency services available in your location.
Age and privacy
Do not send identity documents, financial information or health details to this website. We do not enrol readers in exclusion programmes. Follow the official resource links below for their own privacy information and current service details.
