Primary documents come first
We prioritize regulators, public agencies, official event organizers and company disclosures. A regulatory decision is attributed to the issuing authority. Company product claims are attributed to the manufacturer. We do not convert a company’s promotional description into an independently verified performance result. Every news page provides the original document and the date we checked it.
Dates, status and scope
Our publication date is distinct from the source announcement date. Historical announcements remain dated and are not presented as breaking developments. Projects described as planned remain planned unless a later source confirms delivery. Jurisdictions, product coverage and dataset exclusions are retained when they affect the meaning of a story. This edition is a researched snapshot, not a live newswire.
News, explanation and interpretation
News summaries report what a document establishes. Editorial context is labelled. Explainers help readers understand terms and evidence without supplying individualized legal, financial or gambling advice. Statements are paraphrased with attribution, and source links allow readers to examine the original publication.
Editorial illustrations
Images provide visual context for the subjects we cover. Captions identify editorial illustrations, while descriptive alternative text explains their subjects. Factual reporting is supported by the linked primary documents.
Reviewing and correcting a story
When a possible error is identified, the relevant primary source should be checked against the exact disputed sentence. Material factual corrections must be explained in a dated note on the article; a changed substantive claim must also receive an updated modification date. Routine spelling changes do not require a correction notice. Readers can independently verify statements through each article’s source panel.
Commercial independence
This edition contains no paid editorial, operator affiliate links or deposits. If sponsorship is introduced in a later edition, it must be clearly disclosed on the relevant page and must not be disguised as independent reporting. A source citation does not indicate a commercial relationship.
