Clarified on 21 October 2026: the source announced a scheduled showcase. This report does not independently confirm that the demonstration took place.
A modular cabinet
Light & Wonder’s G2E Asia announcement introduces COSMIC DUAL to the market with two 27-inch HD displays and a floating iDECK. The company describes a modular design intended to serve different markets. The showcase was scheduled for the 12–14 May event at The Venetian Macao.
Electronic and hybrid tables
The announced portfolio includes OBSIDIAN and OBSIDIAN HYBRID in stadium and pod arrangements. The company describes the hybrid platform as supporting automated and live dealer experiences. Its NEXLINK progressive table system combines game content and synchronized presentation with a backend for reporting and dashboards.
How to read the product claims
These details come from the manufacturer’s release. The announcement supports a description of intended features and configurations, but does not independently establish reliability, profitability or approval in a specific province. An exhibition debut is also different from a confirmed installation at a customer property.
EDITORIAL CONTEXT
Electronic tables bring several layers together: the player terminal, the source of the result, the display system and operational reporting. A useful equipment review should explain which layer changed. A hybrid platform can combine physical dealing and electronic interaction; that description alone says nothing about the odds, game rules or suitability of a particular deployment.
